1. PREAMBLE

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) govern the contractual relationship between Riad Zeitoun Palace, located in Marrakech, and its clients. Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these terms. The client acknowledges having read and accepted them prior to finalizing their booking.

2. RESERVATIONS

A reservation is considered confirmed after:
- A written confirmation from the Riad.
- Payment of a 25% deposit of the total stay amount for a Standard Rate.
- Full payment for a Non-Refundable Rate.
The minimum stay is two nights. The remaining balance is payable upon arrival or according to the agreed terms. The client agrees to provide accurate information when making the reservation.

3. RATES

Prices are indicated in euros (€) or Moroccan dirhams (MAD) and include VAT, unless otherwise stated. Tourist taxes are not included and must be paid on-site.
Rates may vary depending on the season, promotions, or special offers. Additional charges may apply for services not included in the initial offer.

4. STAY MODIFICATIONS

Any request to modify the stay (dates or duration) is subject to availability and the Riad's approval. Additional charges may apply depending on the period and nature of the change.
The Riad reserves the right to refuse modifications that would disrupt its operations.

5. RESPONSIBILITIES

The Riad is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to guests' personal belongings. A safe is available in each room to secure valuables.
Parking:
The Riad does not have private parking and cannot be held liable for vehicles parked nearby.

6. HOUSE RULES

- Respect the peacefulness of the premises: Any disruptive behavior may result in immediate eviction without refund.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the Riad, including the patio and common areas. A €100 penalty will be charged in case of violation.
- No parties or gatherings are allowed in rooms or communal areas.
- Pets are not allowed, unless agreed upon in advance.

7. FORCE MAJEURE

The Riad cannot be held responsible for cancellations or modifications to the stay due to force majeure (natural disasters, health crises, strikes, administrative closures, etc.). In such cases, the stay may be postponed subject to availability.

8. APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES

These GTCS are governed by Moroccan law. In case of a dispute, an amicable solution will be sought as a priority. Failing that, the matter will be submitted to the competent courts of Marrakech.

9. NON-SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the Riad, including in the common areas and the patio. In case of non-compliance, a €100 fee will be automatically charged.

10. CHILD POLICY

The Riad only accepts children aged 6 and over to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

11. GENERAL CONDITIONS

Guests must present valid identification upon check-in.
All reservations are personal and non-transferable.
The Riad reserves the right to expel any guest whose behavior disrupts the smooth running of the establishment.

Guests must comply with hygiene and safety rules. Any damage to property will be charged to the guest.

Lost items will be kept for a reasonable period, then donated to charity if unclaimed.

12. CHANGES TO THE GTCS

The Riad reserves the right to modify its General Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Any updates will be published on the Riad's official website.

13. ACCEPTANCE OF CONDITIONS

By proceeding with a reservation, the client unconditionally accepts these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and agrees to comply with them throughout their stay.

1. DEPOSIT & RESERVATION CONFIRMATION
A reservation becomes effective after written confirmation from the Riad and payment of a deposit.
Standard Rate: A deposit of 25% of the total stay amount is required at the time of booking.
Non-Refundable Rate: The full amount will be automatically charged by the Riad upon confirmation of the reservation.

2. BALANCE PAYMENT
The remaining balance is payable upon arrival at the Riad, unless otherwise agreed.
This balance may be paid in cash, by credit card (Visa, Mastercard), or via bank transfer.
Cheques are not accepted.

3. ONLINE PAYMENTS & SECURITY
Online payments are secured through a trusted banking platform.
The client is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the payment information provided.

4. NON-PAYMENT & CANCELLATION
In case of non-payment within the required timeframe, the reservation may be canceled without prior notice.

5. INVOICING & TAXES
Prices include VAT but exclude the local tourist tax, which must be paid on-site.
A detailed invoice can be provided upon request.

Payment of the deposit or balance implies acceptance of these terms.

Standard Rate (Semi-Flexible):
- Free cancellation up to 14 days before arrival.
- Cancellation between 14 and 7 days before arrival: 50% of the total stay amount will be charged.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before arrival or in case of no-show: 100% of the total stay amount will be charged.

Non-Refundable Rate:
- No cancellation or modification is allowed after booking and confirmation from the Riad.
- In case of cancellation, 100% of the total amount will be charged.
